John Carroll out at Fox 61

According to the New Haven Register, John Carroll is no longer at Fox 61 as the cheif meterologist. No expllanation or indication why, but his last day was June 15. I wonder what happened? any ideas?

Michale Friedman is filling in until they find a replacement. Maybe the could poach Scot Haney!

Justin was ok, but I think everyone on Fox 61 is pretty much forgettable.

So that arrogant S.O.B. is gone? Excellent! Scot Haney is firmly planted at channel 3, and he's got some show this fall with traffic reporter (and hottie) Rachel Lutzker. He's going nowhere anytime soon.

To me, I got the impression that he was talking down to you. Don't ask me why. I just felt that way whenever I watched him. As for Michael Friedman, who backs him up now? Anybody?

While I thought Carroll was informative, he certainly appeared stiff or uncomfortable in front of his green board.

He reminded me too much like John Bolaris. Ironically, both have spent a good chunk of time in Philly. Carroll seemed like a buffoon with those awful suits to boot. Friedman seems like he's the kid who at age 5 wanted to be a meterologist. I say give him a chance.

There is a rumor going around town that he was fired for a gun incident, but no details.

Anything specific? The coverage of his termination was minimal....seems like it must have been serious.
