I see WVIT hired a new meterologist. I guess John Carroll's time there is over. Does anybody know where he went?

As far as I know, John was considered a freelance reporter anyways. I'm pretty certain he won't be going back to WTIC-TV. Frankly, I can't stand the guy, so good riddance!

I did see that there was a new weatherman on WVIT this week. He was a young fellow, I think Jeremy Schmidt was his name?

I didn't know John Carroll was a freelancer. I wonder where he'll end up now.

I heard that Dr. Mel isn't doing mornings at WTNH anymore. I wonder if they'll hire a replacement, or just keep Gill Simmons filling in.


P.S. - the same night I saw the new guy on WVIT, I saw Melissa Cole back on WFSB.
And a little Off-topic. Tom Lewis also left WVIT and is now at WTIC. Years ago, he was at WTNH.

Speaking of WTIC-TV and on-air forecasters, whatever happened to Paul Williams? Me and my brother used to call him "Smooth Ice".

Dr. Mel is doing the noon weather and occasional mornings. So, he's actually on a reduced schedule. I hope it's not because his health is failing.

I think he went somewhere down South. He also use to do weather on JAMZ 910.
