John Depetro Blame His Producers...

Ann Coulter backed out of the John DePetro Show on Monday morning and a very non-professional DePetro goes on-air and places the blame on his production staff because the she cancelled at the last minute.It is his show and DePetro should take responsibility for his guest showing or not showing. Blaming his staff on-air is extremely non-professional.
 
Depetro sounds like a typical radio toad. Why should his producer be shocked? Depetro is an independant man, after all :-\
 
I guess that explains what Ben Sparks does at 9AM.
 
Coulter on the Carr show today said she told her publicist to cancel all morning radio interviews. According to Coulter, Coulter told the book publicist not to schedule any morning radio interviews because she was doing too many interviews but the publicist went ahead and scheduled Coulter anyway. Coulter canceled at the last minuteSo, NOT the radio producer's fault.
 
I was listening, and Depetro said "heads will roll behind the scenes." This does not mean he was blaming his producers, necessarily. The point he was trying to make is that the show goes on, but steps will be taken so that something like this doesn't happen again. Didn't she also cancel from Scotto's show late last week?

You can take John DePetro out of RhoDiland but you can't take the RhoDiland out of DePetro.What more evidence do you need to demonstrate the lack of talent DePetro has than the fact that he needs a low life like Coulter as a guest in the first place and that he was thrown for a loop when he had to do the show alone for an hour until he could did up Muffy Healy (R) Talbots.

That's does happen when you pre-promote a guest before knowing they're there. If there's even a question that they might cancel...you can always pre-tape before. I don't know anythying about Ms. Coulter, or DePetro. But, interviews get blown off all the time. When it happens, I reach into a future file for something I didn't get to discuss from an earlier show.Just a thought.
 
She's easily one of the more boring interviews he could have ever booked anyway. Karl Rove but more haughty, less stable, and with breasts. Here's an idea for Dipietro/RKO overall book a guest that is not a typical conservative/right wing talking head that makes the conservative media rounds, stretch and actually provide TALK radio rather than just the pre programmed right view. 96.9 is already doing it and with a better sound because it's on fm and in stereo.
