Great news. I will be on WABC in New York,the number one talk station in the world, all next week. I will be filling in for John Gambling from 10AM to 12 noon. John DePetro on WABC Dec 26-29. Thank you for all the support, and Merry Christmas...
 
Awsome. I'll be Listening! If he does well then perhaps they will hire him. At least he'll still be local enough to get the show.
 
no , on-air. I remember hearing him late one night as I was coming back from Foxwoods. He got a call from someone in Rhode Island and he said he was mving back there soon. A few months later he was on HJJ. I asked my brother who was with me and he said it was Oct 98, and the guy we heard on WABC was the guy who was on WHJJ a few months later. I remember hearing Sean Hannity on HJJ with him and Hannity mentioned Depetro 's on air work at WABC. I am positive I heard that.

Depetro must have been doing some fill in work at WABC. His main gig was Sales.
 
yeah he's filled in at wabc before. he filled in for hannity once as well. he used to work over there in sales as people have said. in no way do i think they would hire him in nyc, if he couldn't make it in boston then i dont think nyc will actually hire him but i do think we may be hearing him in providence if things work out. apparently he's in talks with CC
 
How can WHJJ hire John Depetro, when they cut 10 jobs to slim the station down for sale?
Depetro was with Jim Corwin Tuesday afternoon. I did hear John is back at WHJJ in January.

How does WHJJ make that happen? ???

Maybe they'll put him in place of Helen Glover. maybe they have room for one local host on the payroll.
who knows. If so it would continue them having local talk opposite Rush.
