John Dickey's "Bold Statement"

Regarding John Dickey's quote in today's trades: “We are the saviors of rock. We ran Clear Channel out of the format. We are going to save rock for all Atlantans. Clear Channel tried to kill off rock. We’re going to save it.”

That's kind of like saying: "I ran over your dog. He was in such bad shape the vet had to put him down. I'm going to give you this new puppy. Therefore, I saved your dog."

This guy ought to run for public office. He might actually be able to say "I'm from the government and I'm here to help" with a straight face.

Saved rock? In a pig's ass he did. Killed 99X, killed journey, two CHR's playing the SAME SONGS, a tired "classic rock" station that plays sports half the time (won't we have enough of this crap when Dave flips soon?), and killed AGH.

Classic signs of a narcissistic personality disorder with fecal vomiting like that.

Lives up to his surname though.
