John E Walker Gets His Props

Don't know the guy, but it sounds as if he was almost a legend in Austin. Being at one station for as long of a period of time says alot. Probably let go because of budget cuts. Another example of where radio is going, forgetting the product and looking at the bottom line. When advertisers realize that their paying more money for the spots on a watered down radio station then maybe things will change. That's what got Don Imus fired. It wasn't what he said, because he has said worse, but the fact that it made the news and advertisers said, I don't want to advertise on his show anymore. When you don't generate the money, your gone.
