I have been wondering what happened to him. The football shows he did with Chris Landry on FSR were awesome.

I couldn't agree more. I hope we can hear him some during football season, but I am afraid people aren't that smart to put him on at least on the weekend.

I lost any respect for him two years ago on Christmas Eve when people kept trying to call in to discuss NFL and he was all "get out of here, it's Christmas. We aren't talking sports on Christmas Eve."

You do realize that people are listening to your network on Christmas Eve primarily because they want to hear/talk sports? Not listen to your holiday memories.

And he wonders why he's been reduced to weekends in Atlanta.

a simular host you all might like is Lee Hacksaw Hamilton. He sounds just like John. He also, mostly talk about Football, College Football, Basketball, and College Basketball. he also talks about Golf too.

It took me a while to warm up to Fricke and his mile-a-minute style. However, no one knows more about college football. He should have a slot somewhere.
