John is Entercom's Market Manager in Sacramento. He's been in radio in this town for a very long time. By all accounts I've ever heard, he's a decent manager.

I once worked for him many years ago, and was not impressed. He seemed aloof, as he sat in his dark office with the lights out except for the small green bankers lamp on his desk. He didn't appear to be very comfortable in front of station clients either.

I can confirm this. I worked with him a few years ago as well. You forgot 'with his feet on the desk and his back to the door'... I think he was a little more then 'aloof'.
