Of course! Manny Miguels, over the pond is an often used phrase to reference the body of water between the US and our neighbors in England. There was a phone call made from a morning radio show where one disguised themself as Queen Elizabeth. A nurse answered and put the imposter through to her room. The nurse ended up committing suicide allegedly due to the prank. JG was at the helm at Entercom when a prank went wrong with a radio contest and a listener's life ended. Sorry for not starting the sentence with "It's", that may have clarified the implication a little more clearer for you. Hopefully this explanation suits your grammar specifications sufficiently.
