"Tall Ted" is going to play rock and roll oldies? What?

Or are we going to be subjected to an hour or so of MOR/crossover sludge?

Triple H,
Tall Ted is a legend that's what THE SOJ LEGENDS SERIES HAS BEEN ABOUT.
Larry Morrow,John Gorman and this week Tall Ted who has been in the biz
over 50yrs.
I'm sure the on-air host will play the songs and Tall Ted will tell some very
interesting stories and take a question or two.
In the future Ted Alexander might be a guest as well,TT has worked at WGAR
IN THE 50'S/60'S,WHK,WDOK when they played BEAUTIFUL MUSIC ALL DAY ALL
NIGHT ALL NICE(SLOGAN FROM THE '70'S)WRMR,WELW and back to WRMR/WHK.
Triple H you and I have left messages in the past on this site concerning 1450am
WLEC,I gave you a few sations via the net to check out, just check out TT this
sunday on FM 88.9 THE SUNDAY OLDIES JUKEBOX.

Ted Alexander makes sense, because he has some rock and roll in his background.

But Ted Hallaman? Still sounds weird to me. I don't believe that he ever played rock and roll.

I remember when he was on WHK (in the MOR days), he would put down rock and roll and joke about the "crazy FM guys across the hall with their noise that they call music".

I mean, props to Hallaman for being an old pro, but he just seems out of place surrounded by the music that you normally play, which is great, by the way.

It never mentioned that the guest are rock and roll dj's from the past, they(WSTB) are celebrating 10 years and as a part of the celebration, they have invited Cleveland area dj's of our past that people remember and perhaps they have not heard from for awhile to be a part of their 10 year party. They are there to talk about their days in radio and what it was like and who they worked with and so on. WSTB was given the names of a ton of DJ's from our past, who people enjoyed listening too, and will be glad to hear from them again. I think its a great ideal. Ted was part of a powerful team on WRMR with Randle, Reese, Alexander, Davis, and Quinn. Some of the guest may not have been a rocker, but they were a part of the Cleveland radio experience and no matter what format they belonged to, they were there to entertain us for years.
