Today John Jay and Rich have expanded to Colorado Springs, CO on MY FM. I wonder how many more stations wil sign up for the AZ morning show. Will be interesting how they do in Colorado since they do talk alot about Arizona since they are in Tucson and Phoenix. Also since they are billed as AZ morning show, how does that relate to Colorado?
 
More boring, vanilla, cookie-cutter, potty-mouth, juvenile crap. They're just spreading it around like, well... ya know.
 
The show sounded quite awkward to me - Johnjay was trying way too hard, it seemed, and the whole crew was discombobulated. Not sure if Johnjay ever got the time thing down - different time zones, and he kept announcing the time as 7:26, oops, no, it's 26 past the hour" and so on. Made the show much less entertaining - not sure I would listen in CO Springs if this is what they bring - in fact, I'll probably not listen here in AZ if they continue to sound that bad.
 
...And where was Jay?

Heard John, heard Rich, but no Jay.

gotta admit, I like these guys. hope they do well in the other markets, and that they don't lose what they've got goin on now.
 
Read on allaccess today that JohnJay and Rich will be heard in portland on Z100 starting July 8. Wow, this show has added two new stations in a matter of weeks. Hot on the heals of Seacrest haha

I'm no fan of the music on 104.7, but John Jay and Rich do a good morning show. I can see why Nationwide Clear Channel Cheap Channel would want to syndicate their show [to save money].
 
I wish them good luck. I used to listen to JJ&R a lot more before Carolla came back to Phoenix. They seem like nice guys who've parlayed a friendship with Paula Abdul and an appearance on Ellen to stardom. While I don't doubt they'll have much success in Phoenix and Tucson, we'll see how long they last in Colorado and Oregon.
