The City of Hartford along with the Office of Cultural affais is holding a Polka Music Tribute Concert for John Jeski formerly the host of The Polka Party Saturdays 1130AM-2:30PM on 89.3 FM WRYC and Sundays 12PM-3PM on WRYM AM 840. As I mentioned in a post in January (http://www.radio-info.com/smf/index.php/topic,61322.0.html) Jeski is sick with cancer.
The Polka Band "Patti & The Guys" led by Patti Ann Jakubiak (Polka host on WNTY/WXCT in Southington for the past 15 years) will be performing live.
This free concert will be held Tuesday July 24 6PM-8PM at the Polish National Home on Charter Oak Avenue in Hartford. (Which is where Jeski's Sunday Show is broadcast from).
