John & Ken question from the East Coast

You guys are lucky if you get an hour of John by himself. I wish all four hours were John by himself. Anyone listening to that show more than 15 minutes will realize that Ken is an empty headed doll, that always goes into Broadway songs and pointing out whenever John mentions the worked "naked or nude" particularly if it concerns men. He rarely has anything intelligent or consistent to say. John is light years ahead of him in intellect. Even if you don't agree with John he at least knows how to articulate and argue his side which he does very well. Ken is just annoying and always seems to interrupt John in mid sentence.

I relish the times when Ken is away. The show is so much better then.
John "light years ahead" of Ken in intellect? Ah hee hee HA HA HO HO HAAAAAA....ha. John has the mentality of a 6-year-old when it comes to trying to understand things that are outside his narrow range of interests. "What's that?! I've never seen that before! EWWWW!!! That's WEIRD! I won't try that!" Remember this is a man who only eats cheeseburgers. Cheeseburgers and baseball are all he has room for in his brain, which is why he mocks people who like watching TV and movies or who eat foods he considers "weird". Ken is someone who likes to try new things, whether in food or culture, for which he gets mocked by John as a weirdo. ("Ewww, who would eat THAT?" "I eat those, sure." "You would.") Several years ago Ken went on a trip throughout Asia and described taking in their culture. Can you imagine John doing such a thing, on his own? Yes, we know John has also traveled to foreign places like Egypt and Africa, but I suspect he only goes because his wife makes him. I just can't picture John trying the food in Egypt. He probably found an American fast-food joint to dine at, those exist there.

Which is why they are a great team. They each have different personalities and bring their own perspectives to the show. Ken used to work at one of the Big 4 accounting firms and I believe at least at one time was a CPA.
