Let's start a thread on how this guy keeps his job. We guess no one else wants to do it. Note to the Enquirer, Rick Bird is available.

At least John pays some attention to radio. Remember the guy before him? Tom Brinkmoeller hated radio and never heard anything he liked. The only TV he thought was worth watching was PBS.

We could do a lot worse than Kiese.

Whereas Keis hates anything that isn't Gary Burbank...

He ain't Feder, but he's doing a decent job. My Gawd, you could be having to deal with the lackeys at a fishwrapper like the Toledo Blade...

I think it is a last refuge of Cincinnati being a mid-major city that the paper has a local TV-Radio guy, and he does a fine job. When he mentions radio in a bad light, it is usually because they deserve it.

Regardless of individual opinion of JK, the name of the blog should be more descriptive to be fair.
How about changing the name of his blog to: Television/Radio or Television & Radio? Over the past few years it seems the information he provides is at least 40% dedicated to local radio happenings.
I absolutley agree he should align to the great approach used by Rick Bird and "The Cincinnati Post".

I'll second the motion. I've been reading Robert Feder from the Chicago Suntimes for a long time. He's a good one. Kiese isn't so bad. Lighten up on the guy.
