John Kramer

John is doing great. He is healthy and active. During baseball season, you will often find him in the visiting team's broadcast booth at Turner Field, working behind the scenes to make the radio broadcast sound great.

Much the way Tom Hughes was recently inducted in the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame, John Kramer several years ago was inducted into the auspicious "Alta Kocker" Hall of Fame. You'll have to look up Alta Kocker if you don't know what that means as I continue to try to navigate on the "safe" side of the Radio Info moderator. Mr. Kramer is simply great at everything he puts his Atlantic City frame of mind to...plus, he can be very, very LOUD!

Hi Guys..

Thanks for all the nice things said.
Yes..I am alive and well...working on the tech side of things the last 17 years...(no voice work-thanks for the compliment though)...still living in the same house near Morningside for 28 years (boring). Still doing basically the same things I was doing when I left WGST in '94...although winding down somewhat. No more three broadcasts in three states in three days. That almost killed me when I was younger. Still flying my airplane to gigs whenever the client will pay for it...otherwise good ol' Delta. That's what I'm winding down from. Tired of lugging around all that gear thru airports.
I see Teddy, Howard, Julian, Don, Bob & the boys every so often...not as often as I'd like.
Just thought I'd check in. A friend showed me the name mention from the first of the month.
Happy Holidays to all.
John Kramer
