:) Back on the air in Indy this week. This time he's filling in for Dave Wilson. Afternoons haven't sounded this good in a long time! Now if they would just give JRL that shift for good. Radio would be worth listening to again.

I remember listening to him in the evening on WLS-AM, Chicago, when he said he's originally from Franklin, Indiana. I also remember thinking, "Where?".

Landecker does have original family roots in Franklin, Indiana. His middle name is in fact Records.

Except for the fact that the boogie checkers were in their teens in the WLS rock days, and now...it just wouldn't be the same with 50-year-olds.

John sounds great! But, they have to do something about the background "gigglers". How sophmoric. Or should I say "sophmoronic".

Landecker DOES sound terrific. Understated intelligence that comes through on the air, plus just enough irreverence to let you know he is a pro who has been there, done that, and still has the fire. Been a fun week of listening to him on WIBC.
