Leaving Mix 98.5 in Boston....but no mention of an exit from CBS. You know, I was sort of joking when I said he ought to be moved back to Houston if CBS does end up with the KLOL/KHMX duo, now I wonder if it might actually come to fruition.

Both stations need a thorough housecleaning.

Unfortunately, the people in position to do the housecleaning are also the very people who need to be swept out first. So don't hold your breath waiting for it.
 
The music on MIX 96.5 is great in my opinion. As far as KLOL, lets flip it back to a Rock format. Remember The Eagle 97.1 in DFW , the rock is back!

I know its a laugh but can that happen with KLOL ?

Has the Eagle flip been labeled a success or not? Just wondering. Whenever I'd go to Dallas to visit relatives in the mid 90's I always would tune them in. Iron Maiden and Robin Trower, AND new music; the works! Haven't heard them post-flip yet. Can't really see KLOL going back to rock with its current ratings, but who knows... They said the Eagles would never reunite but all bets are off when it comes down to money! I think the target audience has moved on past terrestrial radio. Sad.
 
The last time I heard him (about a month ago) he just sounded tired to me. Maybe it was that day. But, man, it was just weird to hear a guy I considered one of my heroes growing up sound like an average hack jock.
