Longtime Middle Georgia broadcaster John Lynn (Newton) passed away on Christmas Eve. He was 65. I remember him being part of the great team at WRBN in the late 60's/early 70's, along with Phil Clark, Ray Thomas, John Birdsong, Jack McKeen, Mark Damon, Ken Knight and Mike Lane. (I'm sure I'm forgetting someone). John also worked at WPGA radio and TV several different times in his career. Since he was from Augusta, I believe he may have worked in that market as well. John was a good broadcaster and will be missed.
