John Mack Flanagan. KFRC. Beatles.

What do these three things have in common?

Tune in to 106.9 this afternoon to find out...

Hmmm... "Day Tripper."

I know that voice -- and it *wasn't* Steve Moore!

...but that was. That's the way uh-huh, uh-huh....? :-\

Nice teaser ... that was JMF doing the first liner at the top of the hour.

Q: "How do you keep a radio geek in suspense?"

A: "I'll tell you sometime between now and four o'clock..."

(tick-tick-tick-tick-tick...)

Radio Geeks..here? Naw!!!

(for those who missed the moment of salivation:http://www.supload.com/listen?s=Sf-Q2P6qcL5)

I hope the boss doesn't catch me geekin' out like this!!

The Identical way KSFO/KYA 93.3 did in 1990,, when John Mack Flanagan was taking over jeff Youngs afternoon drive in April of 1990, I remember 1990 on KYA,, what a nice change Trading Jeff Young for John Mack Flanagan in 1990,, and in 1989, when Pat Evans gave up middays and Celeste Perry took over middays,, funny how 18 years later ,, Its Celeste Perry, and John Mack Flanagan same shifts they had at KSFO/KYA fm 93.3 Kenny in Concord

To quote Gordon Gecko (or was it the Geico Gecko?), "Greed is good..."

For those of us who know and dig JMF the most, this is a great start. A fulltime shift? Mind-blowing.

I like that John's doing the top-of-hour "imaging" on Steve Moore's shift!

If they were smart, they would have JMF do ALL the imaging. Now that would be the spirit of KFRC.

Quick note to Mike Preston:

If you knew Production Boy like I know Production Boy -- who is actually The Production God, without peer in San Francisco radio -- you'd probably do well to take his advice.

That's a pretty huge recommendation, O Great One.

(And I am not being facetious.)

(No, seriously, I'm not.)

Yes I Second that, with the stipulation he also gets afternoon drive,, John , for what little I heard yesterday,, he sounds great,, Preston give JMF more air time, Were lucky,, the 3 O"clock debut could have been Cammy!!!Radio is Great!!! Kenny in Concord

The show sounded great. Admittedly, I'm biased -- I'm a huge Beatles and JMF fan, so it's tough to go wrong as far as I'm concerned.

Next: expand the JMF show out until noon (or 2 p.m.) after the Beatles segment is done...
