No doubt many of you remember John Majhor. He was afternoon drive jock on WCOO Charleston back when it was Cool 105.5, then became PD when it switched to Classic Hits and became The Bridge at 105.5 about three years back.
John’s been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, which is a very aggressive cancer. It was discovered very late. His prognosis is daunting.
John has just completed a three-week regimen of meds and radiation treatment targeted at slowing his cancer’s progress, most specifically the lesions in his brain. On Wednesday, he will undergo Gamma Knife radiation surgery to try and kill the buggers. The goal is to afford John as much time as possible.
If you’d like to keep track of his progress – and most especially, if you’d like to contribute to the John Majhor Cancer Fund – visit his website at www.majhor.com, or his MySpace page at www.myspace.com/majhor. He keeps a blog on the latter, which he promises to update in the next couple days.
I also encourage everyone to post a link to the John Majhor Cancer Fund on your website or MySpace page. You can find a selection of logos and the HTML code at www.majhor.com.
I urge everyone to contribute to the John Majhor Cancer Fund, and to send John a message of support. After all, we’d all like for others to do the same for us, if we were in John’s shoes.
Thanks, all…
