John Melloncamp on B101

> Heard "Pink Houses" this morning on B101.

Not surprising considering their direction but time to change the moniker and drop the "of the 60s and 70s". I think it'll happen eventually. BTW Mellancamp's on B101,Coast,HJY although somewhat limited, probably PRO-FM on a request hour,Lite Rock 105 and WCTK too.

And the lines get more and more blurred. Whether that's good or bad is anyone's guess.

I enjoyed the J.Geils set on the "BEE" last night on my way to TF Greene. Hot summer night, hot Mustang and the boys from Boston Kranked to 11 . Just like the old days!

B101

I think we're calling it "survival" these days.

Oldies has been (until recently) the ONLY major radio format that has not evolved much through the years- can't say that about Country, Rock, AC, CHR. So many Oldies stations have been biting the dust (IMHO) because they took TOO LONG to adapt, evolve and adjust to changing demographics.
