He called in sick yesterday and per his fb he was canned today. John's a good guy and it very accessible to the listener. He never denied me a request. I know he did it full-time at once but thankfully he's been part-time for a while and has a straight gig to fall back on. He hit the nail on the head when he asked the listeners to continue to support the Range-"it's one of a kind-and still continues to breathe despite recent attempts to kill it."
 
Yeah, I saw his post on Sunday where he said he wouldn't be on the air and thought something might be afoot. Judging from his posts over the last few months it sounded as if he was just hanging on until he got the boot.
