John Paul Leaving Buffalo

>
> Anyone have any thoughts on this?

He's headed back to the area near where he grew up. He's a good dude, I've met him several times. More interesting to me is to see who they get to replace him.

One of the most decent guys in the business and a proven winner. Often under-rated, John Paul always got the job done and kept WYRK at the head of the class. He didn't sound bad at all doing that airshift on WBUF, either. Gets major points and a star in heaven for having worked for Napoleon. Buffalo's loss is Portland's gain and it's going to be a well-deserved homecoming for the man.

If the WBUF Big Boss Man has his act together, two PDs should be hired. John Paul leaves some mighty big boots to fill at WYRK and with WBUF seemingly getting serious with Jack, that station will need a full time guardian as well.

Take the money saved by not having an airstaff at Jack and hire a good PD for WBUF and WYRK.
