I am on the Memphis Grizzlies mailing list. They e-mailed the latest edition of their e-news. In it, they had a feature on John Paul Stevenson. The basic was he was moving to Houston to be with near his family and to start a voiceover business. Even though I don't know him personally, I think he has done a very good job at Cat 98.1, Kix106, and with the Grizzlies. He definately had a distinct voice. Every on remembers hearing Pallll Gasollllll for three! I wish him luck. Do you believe Kix106 will promote within or post his position? As of the other gig, do you think there is any current Memphis on-air personality that would fit in good as The Grizzlies PA Announcer?http://aol.nba.com/grizzlies/feature-060601-stevenson.html
 
Bring back Fred Cook! ;DOk, I kid. I always enjoyed Tom Prestigiacomo when he did the Tigers, but that is probably not the type of announcer the Grizz want. John Paul was a pro on the radio and at FedEx Forum and will be missed.How about Chris Vernon? Sorry, I kid again. ;D
