Both Proffitt and the GM at Channel 8, John Hesse, have been reassigned to "special projects" until the end of the year when they will exit.

Too many managers for the reorganized HPM. Some had to go. Both are probably near or at retirement age, anyway.

Also frees Lisa Shumate's hand to make any changes she sees fit.
