John Pruitt retirement

It was on AJC.com and he announced it on-air tonight at 6:50. His retirement is slated for the end of this year. Justin Farmer adds the 6pm show, too.
 
I heard it too yesterday (Wednesday) he say that he'll be retiring at the end of this year. I've only been living in Atlanta for six years now and I've gotten to know both John and Monica. Monica herself is retiring sometime next spring (I think).
 
In the words of Lewis Grizzard, "Elvis is dead and I don't feel too good myself". My childhood is slowing disappearing before my eyes.

She said in a radio interview this summer she would leave on July 31, 2011.
