To those of you who don't visit the Chicago board, JRL has landed a gig at pea-popper WIMS, 1420 AM, in Michigan City, IN. His show starts at 5 PM, after The Sean Hannity Show, and I believe it is streamed by the station's website.

That's a syndicated show, isn't it?

Nope. It is a live, local show, similar to his 'LS days, minus the music.

The syndicated show you are thinking of is Into the Seventies. He still does that show, which airs on WLS-FM in Chicago.

Having grown up in NW Indiana, I've seen the local radio stations evolve from community oriented stations to automated, syndicated, generic programming. It's good to see Ric is bringing local radio back, and JRL in afternoons is incredible. I'll listen(online).

Thank goodness WIMS streams on-line......It's nice to hear JRL again...even if it is a talk format........Ric....have JRL do a music show...PLEASE!
