John Ryder's using aliases on WRKO (Kevin Kelly, news) and now apparently WBZ (Howard Knight, traffic--at 3 am, according to one tweet)... don't know if he's working for Metro-Shadow or whatever they call it now...

There have been many alias DJs, etc over the years. And there have been "name droppers"--those who drop part of their name
John Donald Imus
Harvey Leonard Moskowitz
(and in other fields: William Roger Clemens, Anthony Nomar Garciaparra, George Ivan "Van" Morrison, Thomas Cruise Mapother...)
 
I really liked Jon Rish's handling of the Sox pre/postgame and rain delay broadcasts, and when he left I thought Ryder took over seamlessly. Nothing against Mut, but to me he just comes across like the generic-sounding guys you find on syndicated shows. Maybe he'll grow on me.
