John Sanders, former sports anchor and play-by-play in Pittsburgh and Cleveland

John Sanders, a retired sportscaster who worked in both the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets, has passed away. He was 83.


Sanders was the sports director at KDKA-TV and was part of the Pirates play-by-play team for several years.
He later moved to Cleveland where he did play-by-play work for the Indians and the Cavs.
