John Saucier

Kinda like his afternoon show on WEEI. Completely does not fit WEEI, so I'm sure they'll can it within a couple of weeks, but it's more enjoyable than anything else they have. Certainly more enjoyable than listening to Mustard play devil's advocate and take insincere positions on every issue for 4 hours.

He actually came with prerecorded bits - when has that ever happened for WEEI on a weekend show?

I heard the bit where he called the chick from Worcester that he hooked up with the night before. Was entertaining but also self absorbed I thought, may be a good replacement for nights... ;)

I listened to a little of him last week and about twenty minutes today. Even for weekends this is horrible. This does fall in line with the rest of the bad decisions they've been making over there. I'd rather listen to Gemaine and Everett. The guy just sounds like a pervert. A pervert with an exaggerated opinion of himself.

Lately WEEI is like witnessing a train wreck in slow motion.

I like shock jock humor and I thought this was the worst radio show I ever heard in my life. Ive heard high school radio that was better. I was listening to this and I was thinking this was an audition to be a part of the morning show and toucher and rich will crush him. entercom is going cheap for sure.

I listened to a few minutes at the beginning and he was talking about himself, which is what he did last week. I turned it back on about an hour later and he was talking about a trivia contest which featured as prizes a picture of him and a condom. I have to agree with Bos79, high school radio is on a higher level than this. What's he going to do next week..........say penis and giggle? Tell fart jokes? Good grief. How does Jason Wolfe still have a job?

Just out of curiosity I listened to the first 20 minutes of this show to see if he changed it. If anything, it's worse. Is this what the focus groups said they should do? If anyone in a position of management in the radio industry reads this, could you please tell me how something like this happens. Is there a meeting where he lays out what he's going to do? Does someone actually say "I think that's a good idea, try it".

I've been reading this forum for several years and most everyone treats their industry professionally and with pride. Then I hear something like this. I know it's the entertainment industry, but a show like this demeans your industry. It's amateurish and frankly, sleazy.

I wish my weekend gig would generate this kind of press! and by press I mean bitter message board posts. Let Saucier work it out, give it more than a show.

I listened to some of this tonight too. I heard him talking to his grandma and breaking up with a chick and I found it funny but in a train wreck college radio type of way. The EEI of 15 years ago wouldnt do this stuff. I really think they are auditioning him for nights or to be part of a new morning show.

He's obviously full of himself (on-air), but I didn't think it was total dreck. Totally not sports station material, though, and would fit much better at somewhere like WAAF if/when Hillman steps down.

The Miss Boston Accent bit was kinda funny.
