Cumulus Media has announced the appointment of Saga Communications News/Talk 870 WHCU Ithaca NY Brand Manager John Summers as News Director for 770 KKOB/96.3 KKOB-FM Albuquerque.

Summers has been with WHCU since January 2018. He has previously served as Regional Program Director and News Director for Cherry Creek Radio’s Northwest News Radio Network and the Washington Ag Network, News Director for WIBW Topeka and the Kansas State Network, News Director at KKOH Reno, and at KHTS Santa Clarita CA.
