On Monday John Tesh will move from KSTJ to 104.7 KJUL. Tesh previously ran on the old LITE 100.5 as well as the old 104.3 KJUL.
I would guess that KSTJ cancelled Tesh, afterall his show is now moving to a much weaker signal. Perhaps STAR felt that his show wasn't a good match with the stations 80s format. I would agree that the show is best suited for AC and sounded the best when it was on the old LITE. Still, Tesh did have decent ratings on STAR.
Here is the irony of this affiliate change. Nights on KSTJ (when Tesh ran) is the only daypart ANY Beasley station appears in the top 10. Now that one glimmer of hope is gone.
