John Tesh on Sunny?

On the Sunny Website they are promoting the John Tesh radio show 5am - 8am weekdays. Is this consistent with the Sunny playlist (I haven't heard the show), or will it be Tesh's music, which really should be on Smooth Jazz.

In the promo's he says something under the lines of: I'll join you Monday with all of your favorite Christmas songs.

Station that run the John Tesh show seem to be able to choose their own music. The River 105.9 in Hartford runs the show, and the music is the normal Rock AC format. 94.9 WHOM runs the show, and the music is regular AC.

There was a station around here someplace that used to carry his show and I don't recall it sounding like he had any idea what songs were going to play. I remember some sort of inspirational shpiel now and then and it had nothing to do with the format. In fact, it sounded like it could have been canned years ago. I don't know if he's still doing the show that way but if he is, the show can go on and on years after he's ceased to exist.

When Sunny started its all-Christmas format in 2002, they played John Tesh's "We Fall Down" rather regularly. Don't recall hearing it as often since then, nor whether it was played at all on B101.

By the way, I agree John Tesh belongs on smooth jazz, but the smooth jazz stations I've heard are way too R&B-concentrated for his style.
