John Tesh Show

I have been reading that the Nightly John Tesh show is expanding to other day parts. Does anyone know the ins and outs of this show? When does he actually record the show? For affiliates that carry the show in am drive, is that the previous nights show or vice versa? Just curious how they are doing this.

It's called Voice Tracking.
There's a local station that carries him, with Hot A/C. You can tune down the dial and hear him in an adjacent market doing Oldies.
There may be an actual fully produced show, but the VT option is obviously out there.
Imagine the possiblities on a Rock station!

OCcasionally, you'll hear John talking about some study on depression, into a song like "Alone Again, Naturally" by Gilbert O'Sullivan.

Don't laugh, but Tesh IS on a ROCK station (actually, its a Rock AC), WHCN/FM-Hartford (www.theriver1059.com).... and from what I understand, in Hartford, he's number one with adult "Persons" as well as (yes, believe it or not) adult "Men"...

Of course, they are using the voicetrack version and playing their own playlist.... Tesh also offers his show via Satellite WITH Mainstream AC music... all other formats that run him are using the VT version.

This is a show, that, apparently, crosses all formats and dayparts.

John Tesh is also carried on Christian AC stations, again, with their own playlist of music.

Even HOME.fm, a hybrid Christian/Mainstream(Secular) AC, carries John Tesh.

I've heard John Tesh once on Racine Wisconsin's WEZY on 92.1. It's an ok program, that is mainly AC on that station, and Bliss Broadcasting uses the live airing from 7pm-12am, then re-air the same program again from 12am-5am. I don't remember about the weekends. In the Milwaukee market, only those in WEZY's listening area, which are Racine & Kenosha Counties, plus southern Milwaukee County. I believe the station can also be heard in Waukesha County as well. But I don't see Bliss trying Tesh in another daypart, especially the AM drive, especially when the manager of WEZY is also the morning show host.
