John Tobin Leaving WPDH

I heard the news on the Dentist's Board that John Tobin of "Cooper & Tobin" is leaving WPDH. I hope they can put Jack & Andre's "Electric Morning Show" from WBPM over to WPDH. This would be a great idea! Jack & Andre didn't do very well on WBPM in mornings, but I hope it would be smart to move the "Electric Morning Show" over to a bigger signal station like WPDH. Is that true?
 
I heard John left or is leaving also from a very good inside source. It will only be a matter of time before Marc Cooper is let go in my opinion of course.
I think Jack and Andre would be a great fit on WPDH.They are both extremely talented and very good.The show they put on is really very good.I think there is three good morning shows in The Hudson Valley, Coop and Tobin, Woodman and crew, and Jack and Andre.I also heard that J & A are very limited on what they can do on WBPM.The powers that be wont let them put on the show that they really want to put on which I can believe.Im sure if they were on WPDH they would be much more in their own element. I really hope to hear J & A on WPDH soon.
Oh by the way Disney, I think if Jack and Andre were on WPDH their ratings would be bigger than Coop and Tobins and bigger than Woodmans...They would own the valley...In my opinion of course. :)
 
IT'S ABOUT TIME they got rid of those 2 idiots on 'PDH; that am show is unlistenable. Sorry sports fans but you will see jack and andre on PDH when pigs fly. Disney- do you understand english- JACK AND ANDRE WORK FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY. In this market and the way the economy is, it will be interesting to see who they get to replace them. Surely they can find 2 more flunkies at penndel road that can do a better job. Playlist needs help also. Time to push the reset button....

Just because Jack and Andre work for a diffrent company currently doesnt mean that they cant get hired to do the WPDH morning show.If that were the case Mark Bolger would still be working for WSPK and Joe Daily would still be working for WBNR.
 
While Jack and Andre may someday move to WPDH they are under contract to Pamal and WBPM. Most of these contracts have a no compete clause, which means they can’t jump ship just because an opening on a bigger station becomes available. That said I listen to Jack and Andre regularly as I can receive a decent signal from WBPM but I would welcome the change. I haven’t listened to WPDH in the morning in years because Coop & Tobin are Horrible. But one thing I like about Jack & Andre on 92.9 is they mix in music and not just blab, blab, blab.
 
In addition to the non compete cume-u-less would have to throw $$$ at Jack and Andre, and in these times not sure thats going to happen, Stranger things have happened though. Would be worth a try. The awful morning show and all the back slappin with Zolzer, etc needs to go also.....
 
Well, it's official... From the WPDH website, written by Tobin:

"Effective today, I have resigned my position with WPDH. Chuck Bortnick, a decent guy, accepted my resignation at approximately 10am. My thanks to the many thousands who have listened to the show for the past few years. You have truly been a great audience and I have been very lucky to have entertained you for the past few years..."
 
Thanks for the info. John Tobin of "Cooper & Tobin" has left WPDH. What's next? Jack & Andre will be taking over "Coop & Tobin" and call it the "WPDH's Electric Morning Show"? That's not gonna happen anytime soon if Jack & Andre is under Pamal until their contact with WBPM runs out, and maybe Cumulus will bring Jack & Andre to do the WPDH "Electric Morning Show". That would be very smart. Maybe someday, they will.

What are you thinking? Cumulus and Pamal are not the same company. Jack and Andre would have to put in for mornings with Cumulus on WPDH. I am sure they will have the same type of a interview as every does.
 
"PUT in for the morning show?"...You guys don't understand so here goes 1 more time: Cume-u-less would have to approach jack and andre with some attractive $$$$ and entice them to come over, Not gonna happen due to lack of said $$$$$$$$$$$$$...............maybe they will put Senika in????

First off I would like to point out that Jack and Andre havent used "The Electric Morning Show" in some time. They just go by Jack and Andre now. If you listen, you would know this. Anyway, Jack and Andre are not new to the game of radio. They have been working together for over 10 years (according to Andre's bio). They are a solid morning show. It might cost PDH some money to get them there, but if they brought them in and got rid of the current clowns, im sure they would have the money to bring them over. That being said, I would also like to point out that no one knows J&A's deal with Pamal. Maybe they ARE looking to jump to a new station. No one knows and nor do I. So, unless you are Jack or Andre you really cant say what they can or cant do. Maybe they would love to go to PDH to work.I think it would make Hudson valley radio good again to see J&A up against The Woodman. Who knows The Woodman better than Andre? No one except Andre would know exactly what kind of morning radio it would take to bring him down. I think J&A can dominate Hudson Valley Radio.I am hoping to see this happen. Who else is with me on this?
 
I would like to see jack and andre on WPDH as well. Dont forget, Jack and andre are not a small time show.They have a TV show also,so with both audiences and the big exposure it really looks like a good deal for WPDH. I think it could really work. I would like to see the look on ol' ran-mans face,when jack and andre get called to go across town at Pendell Rd. I, as im sure many others will then once again, listen to WPDH. Unless of course you want to listen to the Ran-Man in the morning show.His cume would be 2 and that would consist of his parents. RLMAO

I guess it would be smart to Randy Turner on WPDH someday if he is still with Pamal's WBPM if his contract is up, I don't see the Ran Man going to WPDH anytime soon. If Jack & Andre are going to WPDH, Randy will do mornings along with WGNY-AM morning host Van Ritschie to do the "Ran-Man & the Van-Man Show". Or maybe he should put Randy Turner in mornings and call it "Randy Turner in the Morning".
 
Well I dont believe Ran-Man has enough talent to work at WPDH, I do however believe Jack and Andre will wind up there. I recently was discussing this with a close friend, and he asked me why I would write all these posts about Jack and Andre. He said to me "you dont even know these guys, why do you want them to work at WPDH so badly?" He then said to me, "Maybe Jack and Andre are reading this and getting annoyed, did you ever stop and think that maybe they are happy where they are?" So I thought about this for a while, and came to the conclusion that, it doesnt matter. It doesnt matter if they want to go to WPDH or not. I am just simply saying I enjoy WPDH but I dont like Coop. I listen to Jack and Andre every morning and I really like what they do. I would like to hear their show running on my faviorite radio station. I find them to be extremly talented and I'll be damned if they dont make me laugh out loud every single day in my car while i am heading to work. So, I am simply stating what I would like to hear. I hope WPDH will consider them. By the way, ALL my friends at work listen to Jack and Andre in the morning. We turn them up loud every single day. Am I wrong for saying how I feel ?
