John Williams On Pins And Needles

Pins and needles?? Why? He's aalso working at WCCO - another GREAT station, the WGN of Minneapolis. Less stress, nice country. He's fine.

Minneapolis is maybe just a little bit too nice.
Too much nice is a special kind of stress. I've spent too many months of my life in and around Minneapolis.

Too little, too late. The article had the incorrect name for nearly sixteen hours before I even posted about it.

Dim bulb Laski mentioned last week he would be filling in a few days for King John this week.
Burning up vacation time, never a good sign.
I'm sure the Twin Cities are nice. I've personally never been.

On William's first day at WCCO, he told his news anchor that he would be soon looking for a house in Minneapolis. When I heard that, it sure seemed like Williams knew he would soon be out the door at WGN (either because of them or by choice).

If John Williams leaves, it WON'T be because WGN hired away Bill Cunningham. That's because Willie has opted to sign a new contract with WLW/700 in the next few days:

This obviously won't affect Willie's new TV talk show that will originate from WGN-TV. That being said, John Williams could leave WGN anyway. He obviously can't be scooted into the 1p-3p slot, unless the miracle of cloning is closer than we think. ;)
