John Wooden coverage

710 went all Wooden Saturday morning for a couple of hours. ESPN-LA pre-empted the usual network broadcast that airs Saturday mornings.
 
On the other hand...KLAC aired The Car Guys (paid programming)...an amazing blunder by the Bruin Flagship...I only heard FSR network the rest of the day...maybe I missed a touching tribute during Inside Racing...
 
Not so many years ago, several L-A radio stations would have had tribute packages in the can ready to air in the event of John Wooden's passing. After all, he had been recently hospitalized. Not so anymore. Today's radio is "Dead Radio Broadcasting".
