WHY, oh why, is the Loop bringing back JB? What the hell are they thinking. The are programming a station, exactly how it was all those years ago. Same TV commercials, same morning guy, this isn't going to work. It makes me so mad. There is so much better talent out there then JB. There is a reason he was kicked off in LA.

The only reason I can think of, is that the Loop is taking after Hollywood and the music industry. If you can't think of anything new, remake something that may have worked in the past. Case in point, the Night Stalker, new tv show this year, retread from the 70's. Every other song it seems is a remake. So why not radio?

My humble opinion, he is doomed. His schtick got old when his first producer Jimmy Budwieser left.

I do remember a time when the Loop was cutting edge. Back in 1983. This station never evolved past that year it seems. Without a shadow of a doubt one of the worst rock stations in America today.


I say let them bring back good ole Johnny B. It can only help to bring back a true rock station faster as The Loop fails!!!!!!!!<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Zander_Kelly on 10/07/05 04:46 PM.</FONT></P>

Yeah--the station flipped to Jack and everyone else got fired. They couldn't leave Johnny B out.

The Loop is not and hasn't been an active rock station for years--under Bonneville, they were always classic-leaning, even if harder than their competition. They are not programming for pissed-off 14-year-olds, so why wouldn't they bring back Johnny B?
