Johnny Pesky, Mr Boston Red Sox, passes away at 92

From 1969 to 1971, Johnny Pesky was analyst on Boston Red Sox telecasts, and was analyst on radio broadcasts of games not televised.

From 1972 through 1974, Pesky only did TV games.

I was at Fenway Park on Saturday for the annual Futures At Fenway minor league baseball doubleheader. I was sitting in right field grandstand section 10 (which would've been $30 at an actual Red Sox game). At first, I thought it was dirt at the bottom of Pesky Pole, until my brother said "No! Those are all fan autographs!".

To be fair, this was my first time inside of Fenway Park since September of 1989 and had no knowledge of the autograph part of the foul pole.
