I'm not a regular Wolf listener, but it seems to me that JoJo has been gone from the station for a long time now...a year or more. Our loss - he was excellent on KFRC and KBWF. If I'm remembering correctly, he responded to his local fans on this board when he left.

A bit of 'googling' brought him up at Q-105 Tampa - where he's a home-boy, according to his bio.

He's one of the Old-School type jocks...A real radio person's, pro radio jock!!...Did Q-106 in San Diego, did a KRTH stint, a few S.F. gigs, etc...and still sounding great doing afternoons at Q-105/Tampa. Lot of fun to listen to!

Jojo's timing and delivery is amazing!

That kind of radio is a blast...When the Jock is having fun and is really in to the music, you can feel it and it makes you want to listen!!

Wish more stations had guys and gals like this!

KRTH, KOOL, Q-105 and many of the Classic Hits/Oldies stations to some degree, do this kind of radio...and with lots of success!

I really think that's where a lot of radio fails these days!

Made it fun to listen to the radio!
 
The amazing thing with JoJo is he is like that every break, every day, all the time.

I used to be amazed at how he could do it day in, day out, when I worked with him.
 
Amazing how fast a year goes by. Still remember hearing him back in 1984/85 afternoons when I lived in Boston on Kiss 108 and 105.7 WVBF. He never lost that high energy delivery. If I remember correctly, he stated in his response he moved to Florida for family reasons.

I have known JoJo since the KISS 108 days and he is exactly this way in person. He's a great guy and his energy level rubs off on others.

He also TRULY loves radio!

Tampa's gain is clearly your loss...
