JokeChannel 46 News...Shut It Down!!!!!

WGCL has gone too far...this time they broke journalistic ethics in the process of showing off their sexy chief "weathergirl".

After Dagmar did her forecast, WGCL aired a story that featured Dagmar riding around in a motorcycle giving what sounded like paid testimony for Triumph Motorcycles. Paid testimony and a sexy woman riding a motorcycle during a newscast.

Their news director must be like that news director from the cancelled sitcom "Back To You", with no clue on anything. No news organization that wanted creditibility would do this. No wonder Gene Norman bailed. I don't know what is going on over there. I suspect that is why they don't have anyone creditable coming in to replace Gene Norman...because they know the station is a complete and total joke.

Somebody tell WGCL to shut down their news department before they embarrass the Atlanta TV market any further.

I think their News department will eventually ceased, Joining The CBS Station in Detroit & The ABC station In St. Louis having no news on their stations. It'll leave WSB-TV, WAGA-TV, & WXIA-TV as the only 3 stations with news.

Add the ABC station in Winston-Salem, NC (sister to the one in St. Louis,
as both are owned by Sinclair).

And you're just going back to the status quo ante-WAGA switch. 2, 5,
and 11 were the only three stations with news, and most Atlanta news
viewers are loyal to one of the three (mostly WSB).

One step further...WGCL 46 should change their call letters to WHAA. I can see it now.

Your watching WHAA 46, we are on a stinking UHF whaa whaa no one watches us Whaa whaa.
