Just was checking out the mancow.com website and it lists that Jolt will start airing his show on the third. So is this station going in a new direction or they just adding the cow to am drive??

Apparently they have also been running some TV commericals mentioning Mancow on cable.

It looks like KJLL is going in a different direction in the mornings at least. According to the Mancow web site, he's going to be on from 5:30-10:00am which knocks out both Imus in the Morning and Java & Jolt with John C. Scott. Although I don't always agree with Scott's politics, I hate to see a live and local show go by the wayside. Hopefully, John C will fill another time slot and another local station will pickup the I-man.
I, for one, won't be listening to the Jolt anymore in the mornings.

JOLT SCHEDULE 1/9/06

Mancow new......... til '10
Beck moves......... 10 til noon
Dr. Laura.......... noon to 3
John C. Scott...... afternoons
Liddy and Hill..... rumored

Count on other TRN programming filling evening hours; also count on Leykis getting cancelled. TRN loves to shove their crap shows down your throat in order to shave a few bucks off Mancow syndication. Bruce and Savage on KNST, Doyle on KVOI, that leaves Humphries, who's live 7-10pm locally. Hmmmmm

Funny how they still got Laura on the schedule. Seems as though she is the odd man err woman out. I tuned into Mancow this morning, hadn't listened in quite some time and wow is Tucson ready for the cow :)

Well, I'll be listening to KJLL a lot less with the dropping of Imus in the Morning, The Radio Factor, Out West(?), and Inside Track. However, I would like to see them pickup Liddy & Hill. Anybody know if Out West shifts to 4-6AM as mentioned in a previous thread?

Dr. Laura is live 1-4pm MST.

What's on KJLL from 12-1? The third
hour from yesterday? Or is the whole
show on a one-DB?

During winter, the first hour is from yesterday. Of course, during her heyday, Dr. Laura had a lot of next-day clearances for her (still available) 9-noon ET feed. WABC, WTAM, WLS IIRC... the shows are rather evergreen. And it's all live in the summer.

Don't see how with Mancow starting at 5:30. Maybe we could hook an AV cable up to cable TV and feed it into a network of LPAM transmitters and blanket the city with Imus!

Nicole Cox announced Friday afternoon that Liddy and Hill will be on from 5-7pm followed by Rusty Humphries. She also mentioned that Phil Hendrie will move to a later time. Nicole mentioned that she was moving to mornings (I presume to do local news during Mancow). She also confirmed Mancow, Beck, et al as listed above. Nicole also made mention of Fred Imus going to SIRIUS Outlaw Country.

Friday morning on Imus in the Morning, Fred mentioned that he was working on a deal with SIRIUS Satellite Radio's Outlaw Country channel. Fred also stated that he'd like to see Tucson in a rear-view mirror.
