Hmmm... [good] local Tucson talent? Seems to me they had some not too long ago. And, the ratings were up! And, based upon the history, it wasn't because of Imus.

Only folks who miss Imus are those who've been listening to him do the same schtick for the last 100 years. Read the boards if you "CARE WHAT TUCSONANS HAVE TO SAY AND WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR".

Tucson stations have a hold on most of the top syndicated talk hosts currently, but what most GM's can't understand, only one means ratings "Rush". The rest are just mindless chatter. The real News/Talk station that will win is ALL LOCAL--ALL LIVE TALK/NEWS. Having syndicated talk shows that you can listen to on satelite when you want and see on tv when you want does nothing. If JOLT and KNST can make money with crap and people want to listen to crap plus advertisers want to advertise on crap stations, Tucson will keep getting CRAP. Maybe it's time for a new station? Who would be well known talk hosts that you can air in Tucson?
