Jon and jeff back on wtkk

I saw on 96.9's face books page that jon and jeff are back filling in for michael graham,Now I thought they left radio? Any thoughts?

They said Monday that they stopped overnights because people who work nights are more likely to divorce and the married one wanted to preserve his marriage (not sure who is who.)

I thought they were dull overnight and they were equally dull yesterday, from what I heard, and kind of whiny, to boot.

But it is summer, when we get to hear a lot of fill-ins, which I enjoy--and at least it's a break from Graham (who I think is hyper and whiny.)

J&J are very much still in radio. They currently host a show syndicated by Genesis (Alex Jones, Dr. Daliah).

No, they DID host a show syndicated by GCN/Genesis——the last live show was like Feb 22, then it was just reruns until the show was officially nixed at the end of March! :'(

Jeff is the suck.. er, married one. ::) ;D ::)

One of em is from Providence I think.
On the overnight show they used to do "shoutouts" to people who are listening. Gee, it's like
the old days of Romper Room with (Salem State alum) Miss Jean. (Looking through magic mirror)
I see Bob and Al and Donna and Laurojrm and...
(Wikipedia: "At the top of the 1 AM Pacific time hour, Jeff read the names of show listeners who have requested "shout-outs" on the show's website. They usually include the person's name, what they do during the night and what city they are in, occasionally including personal short messages to someone whom the listener knows and thinks is listening to the show."_

Unless...you lived in Southeastern Mass. and Rhode Island...in which case New Bedford's Channel 6 gave you the Baltimore version of "Romper Room", with "Miss Sally"! :D ;D :D
