Jonathan Wier returns to KMBZ

Former night host Jonathan Wier has returned to KMBZ 98.1 to co-host the midday show. He'd been off air for a while, after hosting mornings at WKLB Boston.

Jonathan's a much loved figure in the market, and the reaction seems very positive on social media. He'll be joining Jayme Monacelli beginning on May 19th.
 
He's a good hire. He had the misfortune of being on during a timeslot that isn't known for bringing in much money, especially on talk radio, in his previous run at the station, but local management really liked him and thought he was on the verge of breaking out. Glad he's going to get the chance now.

Between that hire and Karla Cantrell at Cox Media in Tulsa, seems like radio has been adding great talent this week. You'd almost think ownership and management might know what it's doing once-in-awhile! ;)
