Jonathon Green Leaves Wtmj

Jonathon Green is retiring from WTMJ after 41 years. Greeny said on his afternoon Drive program that the time was right to Retire and enjoy life. Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin will miss him, he was the last link to the great days of radio in Milwaukee.

All I can say is: Thank you Jonathan, for so many years of great radio. There goes a real radio man. When he's gone, I'm going to have to figure out that tuning thing.

I hope the don't replace him with a yeller.

...first off, the name is Jonathan. Secondly, he's only spent 39 of those years at WTMJ; 18 months were spent at WZUU after half a year at WDAE Tampa...

I worked with Jonathan in Tampa Bay at WDAE. Never was really sure why he left Milwalkee..But a nicer guy you could never find..really a neat person. Not many of him left in this biz.

Best of luck..I wonder..does he still drive a GREEN car? Had a green Cadillac when he was in Tampa.
