You missed a great program on Friday night if you missed Jordan Rich on WBZ Radio.

He had a two hour musical tribute to composer and former Boston Pops Conductor John Williams.

His guest, musicologist, Jon Hitesman, compiled a dynamite collection of Williams music which they played in part for two hours without phone calls.

Makes you realize what the Boston Pops lost when they let John Williams get away. As Bob Lobel would say, ' why can't we get players like that'. Exactly !

Wonder if Jon Hitesman can publish that great John Williams music collection. It should be on any music lovers shelf
 
We all said the same thing when Williams came in after Arthur Fiedler. He must be spinning in his grave with the crap that PHONY Lockhart puts out.
