Hope you got to tune into Jordan Rich last night as he, Frank Ochieng,
and Garry Armstrong did their movie night. "Bob from Beverly"--that was me. I
talked about: the Jean Shepherd book and asked a trivia question about
Hairspray...and I also suggested they do an occasional "television night".
See, those three guys know a lot about TV too--as does the WBZ audience.
Garry mentioned he was thinking the same thing--why not talk about TV?
So they'll do just that:
talking about movies next on Sat night/Sun morning March 25
midnight to 3:30 am
talking about TV next on Fri night/Sat morning April 21
midnight to 5 am (five big hours...)
And a tip of the cap to Morgan White Jr who dropped by and left some
prizes for them to give away. Morgan's show helped Frank get into
movie/TV reviewing, and Frank and I met via one of Morgan's club shows.
One night, Morgan filled in for Paul Sullivan and had Frank on.
Jordan Rich, who was on next, heard them and decided to have Frank
on as a guest later (eventually Garry Armstrong would join, too).
It's all connected...
(this goes back to '03, at least Frank's being
on Jordan's show...)
