Josh Lewin

I read he has taken a job with the Mets. He won't continue to do a radio show from Dallas will he?

he's been wanting to leave for months. He's 'too good' for radio from what I hear. TV people are classy in his book, radio people are not. Don't know him, just what I've heard from insiders.

Lewin will be doing radio for the Mets.

Josh is a very nice guy and has great respect for people in radio, but his first passion is play by play. That is why he decided to take the job with the Mets. I miss hearing him call Ranger games. I will have to tune in to some Mets games just to hear him do play by play.

The Rangers have not made many mistakes in past few years but this is one of them, he was a GREAT voice of Texas Rangers Baseball (tv) Last season was not the same without him, as a matter of fact it sucked... Good Luck Josh you deserve it

So are we stuck with Dave Barnett and Tom Grieve again this year? I heard some rumors right after the World Series that TAG might not make it back next year - either he's unhappy with the pairing or someone in the Rangers front office is (or maybe they're just tired of him).

I could see a Dave Barnett-Mark McLemore broadcast team, or maybe (this is admittedly a stretch) move Eric Nadel to the TV booth.

Or, a crazier idea: how about Brian Dalgen-Mark McLemore? That might actually be pretty good.

Eric Nadel would never move to tv. He loves radio too much. Brian Dalgen sucks, so moving him to tv wouldn't work. Dave Barnett isn't bad, he just doesn't have much of a personality.

The Rangers realized their mistake when they gave Rhadigan the hook after 50 games. Rhadigan was awful, but if they'd ridden him out the whole year I think he'd gotten better.
