From a fan's perspective and insider baseball, you will be missed. Please don't lose touch with this lovely place you poured so much into, you know like keep your tail on this board. The "man" may have sent you packing, but most of us would have gladly offered you the couch.

Go git er' done, brother!

Josh is one of those rare talents we have been afforded the right to have in this town, I have a feeling wherever he goes, he will be respected and appreciated. Drop us a postcard man!

You know, we are so spoiled in this forsaken market. There really aren't many markets to jump to from Dallas. Folk around the country would pay to work here, and most of us can't wait to stamp our passport.

This market needs a Calgon moment and a Wayback machine. ;D

Major changes at KYSR, L.A. - on and off the air

KYSR There will be a different look to the jock roster on Clear Channel's KYSR-FM for 2008, and this week's restructuring at the station actually starts at the very top: GM Craig Rossi has resigned. On the air, L.A. VP of Operations Michael Martin says Josh Venable will take over the afternoon & evening 4p-9p slot, and current Programming Coordinator Darren Rose takes the mic from 9pm to midnight. Venable joins KYSR after a decade on KDGE (102.1) in Dallas. Martin says "We're excited to have Josh and the passion for music he'll bring." On-air personalities Tom Mitchell and Summer have left the station. "
